A term used in
self-defense techniques, that refers to attacks initiated from your rear or
flank. Because these moves stem from the
unknown (areas which you can’t see), the terms DARK or DARKNESS are used.

In
the SKK Dojo –
Well,
the children class is getting some very nice students. Kudos to those students who work out and
practice before class starts. Always a
pleasure to work with children who want to be there. Excellent Job boys and girls.
Our
adult class is moving along quite well.
We have an excellent group of students and it is always a pleasure to be
working with you guys and gals. For
those who are teaching, keep up the good work and thank you. Always, work on the “intent” of the
technique, as well as, the attacker.

Please pay your dues
by the 10th of every month.
Make sure you keep
your receipt when you pay your dues.
· All students must wear
a karate uniform or workout clothes. Male students must wear a groin protector.
· Hygiene is a good
thing. Please make sure your karate uniform is clean, finger and toe nails are
trimmed, and remove jewelry in class. These reminders are for the safety of
your fellow students. Thank you.

phone or e-mail if you cannot show up for class.

· We charge a $10.00
belt fee for all belt promotions.
· The SKK patch is on
sale for $10.00 each or $16.00 for two.
